Definition: Linoleic acid (Ω6) stabilized under a biomimetic ceramide-like structure obtained by a patented solvent-free enzymatic synthesis process, from a vegetable oil of safflower, cotton or maracuja.

Mode of action: In bringing stable linoleic acid to the heart of the bilipidic layers of the epidermis, Ω6 CERAMIDE is even impacting upon the quality of the intercorneocytic cement. Ω6 CERAMIDE displays double restructuring (corneocytes cohesion increase) and anti-inflammatory activities required in order to preserve skin integrity.
