Description
Purifying antibacterial
Definition: Myristic ester of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (LPCA), physiological component of the epidermis.
Mode of action: A fatty alcohol, myristic alcohol possesses specific texturizing properties. Produced by esterification of myristic alcohol with L-PCA, MYRISTIDONE displays strong antimicrobial activity and, notably limits the proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium specific to oily skin and responsible, amongst other things, for the skin irritation.
