LAURYDONE

INCI: Lauryl PCA

Description

Moisturizing texturing makeup

Definition: Lauric ester of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (LPCA), a physiological component of the epidermis.

Mode of action: Given its amphiphilic structure and the presence of a fatty chain with 12 carbon atoms, LAURYDONE is a dual-action moisturizer. It forms a hydrolipidic film on skin surface providing an immediate and long-lasting skin moisturizing, but it also helps to preserve an optimal moisturizing level due to the L-PCA released. LAURYDONE is therefore particularly suitable for formulas in a lipophilic medium such as lipsticks and other makeup products, notably preventing any pigment-induced drying effect.

Oil Soluble.

USE LEVEL: 0.5-3%
