Evicide® PBA is a mixture of Phenoxyethanol and Benzoic Acid. The main component Phenoxyethanol belongs to the family of aromatic alcohols. This group of actives is well known for many functions; among others their pleasant smell. Evicide® PCG has a faint, delicate rose-like aroma and significant preservative effect.

Applications
Evicide® PBA performs as an efficient preservative at any pH-level up to 6.0. The best results are obtained in emulsions and surfactant based products. Face Care, Body lotions, Baby creams or deodorants but also toilettries can be perfectly preserved with Evicide® PBA at low formulation costs.
