Evicide® magnolia 85, a liquid, ready-to-use blend which is easily incorporated into cosmetic formulations. The main function of this blend is the synergistic broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, which enables it to fully protect a formulation, without needing to add additional preservatives.

Applications
Evicide magnolia® 85 yields further beneficial functions, such as the moisturizing properties, the ability to stabilize O/W emulsions, and the antimicrobial effect against specific microorganisms. The latter function is especially interesting if the blend is considered as an active ingredient against acne- causing bacteria.
This blend is suitable for the microbiological protection of all kinds of emulsions and surfactant based formulations. The blend will work at any pH, since the antimicrobial function of the constituents is not pH dependent.
