Stable and Oil-Soluble Vitamin C.
Acts as an antioxidant booster to protect the oil-phase, lipohilic actives or fat components in formulations.
Also serves as an antiaging active. Vitamin C is a polar substance, which typically cannot penetrate the hydrophobic
skin layers. However, ascorbyl palmitate possesses a hydrophobic tail and is therefore well suited to deliver this active into the deeper domains of the skin.
