Features & Benefits
The cooling effect of Evicare® cool is milder than that of pure menthol, but is much better tolerated by the skin. The main advantage of Menthyl Lactate is its cooling property, which gives a pleasant and refreshing feeling on the skin. It can help relieve skin irritation and soothe the skin. In addition, Menthyl Lactate also has mild exfoliating properties that can help remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture.

Applications
The product should be added to the emusion at about 40 °C. One option is to pre-dissolve the raw material in perfume oils or fatty oils, as it is insoluble in water, and then add it to the formulation. Small tip: high dosages of oils and waxes can noticeably reduce the cooling effect. Additional addition of 5 – 10% alcohol can increase the cooling effect on the skin. The application is versatile, e.g. in cooling gels, cooling creams, toothpaste and other oral care products.
