Evicare® complex 12 is a natural substitute for EDTA. With a strong complexing function this readily biodegradable raw material traps undesired metal ions that accelerate oxidation and helps to protect sensitive materials in cosmetic products. Also by removing Magnesium and Calcium it makes water softer and helps to boost foam in shampoos and cleansing products. The pre-neutralized Evicare® complex 12 is the purest form of this natural chelator.
Applications
Evicare® complex 12 is readily water soluble and simply added to the water phase. In emulsions it supports antioxidants by removing metal ions that catalyze oxidation processes. In surfactant based products it helps to increase foam volume.
