AKOSHINE AMETHYST POWDER is an ultrafine powder of the Amethyst
gemstone. The amethyst is a natural occuring crystalline quartz with
lavender to violet shades. Its nuances are due to the mineral composition
which manly consists in silicon oxide (SiO2) and iron oxide (Fe2O3). Thanks
to its colour, the amethyst powder has found large application in cosmetics
as pigment in nail polish, lipstick, eyeshadow etc. When applied to skincare,
amethyst is believed to cleanse the skin from toxins, oil excess, dead skin
cells and to promote the flow of oxygen to the skin.
