Description
Triple-action moisturizing osmoregulator
Definition: Physio-vegetal complex formed by potassium salt of the L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid (L-PCA) and an aqueous extract of Mexican cactus stems.
Mode of action: Short and long term moisturizer, AQUAREGUL-K enhances intra and extracellular water flow, according to 3 complementary action modes: stimulation of water penetration into cells (osmotic effect of potassium); stimulation of aquaporins (AQP3) synthesis; reinforcement of epidermis barrier function (PCA effect).
AQUAREGUL-K at 5% increases by 23% the long term moisturizing effect.
